A great way to tip your toes into taekwondo. Our classes vary in content so make sure to drop in frequently. Or alternatively look into our Basic Course.

Location: SKY Room, Heights Yoga and Wellness (4701 Hastings Street, Burnaby, BC)

Time: 5:30pm – 7pm, Sundays (Starting April 21st)

Age: 18+

Basic course (registration period over)

A perfect way to start your Taekwondo journey. The course consists of 11 sessions covering basics of Taekwondo, which culminates in a grading session where you are expected to graduate to yellow belt.

Course covers kicking, punching and blocking techniques, patterns, sparring, self-defense, theory and basic commands.

ITF-approved uniform will be provided (included in course fee).

Grading

In order for a drop-in student to qualify for yellow belt grading, they must have completed minimum 10 sessions!
A uniform must be worn during grading.
Grading fee includes a new belt when applicable.
